The NYLT Leadership Academy is the high level course for NYLT graduates and will train you to be a world-class presenter, evaluator, and leader. During your week at the academy, you will hone your presentation and evaluation skills, meet successful leaders, participate in problem solving panels, learn best practices, and so much more!

The NYLT Leadership Academy has long been a program for premier leaders in the Boy Scouts of America, and has focused on the fundamental skills of instruction and evaluation as a way to build strong leaders and teachers. Now, through our partnership with West Virginia University you can receive college credit for attending the NYLT Leadership Academy!
Scholarships are available!
The NYLT Leadership Academy is proud to offer scholarships for every council in the United States.
The NYLT Leadership Academy scholarship program is designed to encourage all Councils to send youth to the Academy. The objective is for all Councils to conduct world-class, youth led NYLT courses. Every council is eligible to receive one scholarship, just send enough youth and you qualify.
