(Note: Wood Badge and Powder Horn Course Director Conferences will be held October 18-20, 2013 at Camp Alpine in the Northeast Region.)        

NYLT Leadership Academy has worked wonders for me.  I came here with pretty low confidence, and I am leaving here entirely confident.  The change is dramatic, and this course proved to me that I can be a leader and overcome my weaknesses.  I LOVE this course!  It has inspired me so much to be the leader I’ve always dreamed of being.

The NYLT Leadership Academy trains youth staff
to be world-class leaders, presenters and evaluators of their council
National Youth Leader Training course.

NYLT Leadership Academy is developed to support local council NYLT staff.
It is a direct descendant of the Youth Staff Development Course (YSDC), the
National Junior leader Instructor Camp (NJLIC), previously offered at Philmont and the
train-the-trainer courses originally delivered at Schiff Scout Reservation.
